Improving Advertising Performance
We will never use Facebook or Google to serve any kind of personalised ads or target you in any way on other websites (also known as remarketing) unless we have gained your explicit consent.
However, platforms like Facebook and Google improve an advertiser’s campaign performance on their platforms over time by serving ads to people they believe are more likely to perform a designated action (such as a click or a purchase) based on data from that campaign along with data they already hold about other users. This is known as conversion optimisation.
In order to improve the performance of new campaigns we run, we may utilise Google’s ‘similar audience’ feature and Facebook’s ‘lookalike audience’ feature to find people similar to only those visitors who make a purchase, book an appointment or make an enquiry on our site.
This only uses data from cookies on those specific pages of our website (as listed above) along with any data that Google and Facebook may already hold about you, to which we have no access or influence over.
If you would like to opt-out of this, you may refuse cookies within your browser settings as describe in the section below ‘Opting out of cookies’.
Measuring Calls From Advertising
As a highly personal service, we get a large number of customer enquiries via telephone. In order to help us understand what marketing activities lead to customer enquiries, we use a call tracking service called RTAP provided by ResponseTap.
This sets cookies in order to determine how visitors found our website before calling us, and serves a unique phone number to each visitor in order to measure which activity results in a phone call.
The following cookies are used by ResponseTap:
Name | Purpose | Expiry |
adiLP | Used by RTAP to monitor where visitors have come from and serve a unique phone number | Session |
adiS | Used by RTAP to monitor where visitors have come from and serve a unique phone number | Session |

adiVi | Used by RTAP to monitor where visitors have come from and serve a unique phone number | Session |
You can view their Privacy policy at http://www.responsetap.com/uk/privacy-policy.
(please note a new policy will be updated on 25th May 2018)
If you would like to opt-out of this, you may refuse cookies within your browser settings as describe in the section below ‘Opting out of cookies’.
We also use the RTAP Caller ID function by Response Tap’s Caller ID function to let us know the number of visitors who call us using a phone number served to them by RTAP.
ResponseTap do not hold any other personal details about you and do not share phone numbers with any third parties or use this data for their own purposes.
If you do not want to be served these cookies, you may update your browser settings as described in the section below ‘Opting out of cookies’.
